Well I was a stripper 7years ago right when I turned 18 was there for a bit and got married and quit. Never had children now 25 and don't have a job. Worked as a CMA for a bit and hated the pay and the ppl I worked with weren't so nice so I quit. Thinking about going back to dancing to help pay for my student loans.. I really want to be an RN but really confused on wether I should waste 2years when really I can be staking money? I eventually want to get into business like house flipping on the side from nursing or I can go the other route be a stripper while I can young not bad looking and a rocking body and save for my business in house flipping.. Any ex strippers or side strippers from nursing? I know of a girl that did it on the side from her nursing career made bank$$$. I've also thought about going that route stripping and nursing for a bit up till I save up for my business than do nursing and my business on the side and eventually quit nursing.. I'm heading more towards nursing since I am married my husband makes good money but I want to do something for myself! I want to start a family soon as well. Oh and also I made very good money working as a dancer, every day was deferent but I can say it was about what a top RN makes a year or more. It's one of the easiest high paying jobs I've ever had that's the only reason I'm looking into it again, it's a great way to invest in my opinion wether it's paying student loans or saving money for a business like house flipping.. My fear is going into the medical field as a RN and experiencing horrible unprofessional management and hating it, big possibility that will happen again if I don't move, but just totally wasting time on my education when I could save money good mounts of money and use it for business. Any feed back is appreciated. I came across some old posts about ex strippers or strippers being nurses on the side but they are old posts hope someone could reply. Thanks for reading
All I hear when I read your post is "$$$$$$" It seems pretty unfair that the people with the most passion to become nurses are competing to get into nursing school with people who are using it as an option to "make bank." You do realize you will be responsible for other lives right? I mean seriously why even go to school if you already plan on quitting nursing?

Wow I never said I was going into nursing school and quitting in the middle of my program . I'm suppose to start this fall but might put that off till next year or never. Sorry to break it to you life isn't fair in general life is about $$$ . There are so many nurses that went in for the money it's not even funny so don't try to tell me all nurses want to take care of the sick cuz they simply love it it plays both roles money as well $$ just how I see you're a CNA, why not stay as a CNA ? You want to further in cuz of the $$ a nurse is doing less or about the same as you but you're making less! And trust me I know how that feels, I worked as a CMA and nurses were doing the same job duties as me but getting paid more I don't think it's bad to be ambitious and want more in life. Also yes I'm aware becoming a nurse the lives of patients depend on you, just how you rely on that paycheck to feed your family. It also depend on what type of clinic or hospital your work at, being an RN is not all about saving a life or having ppl depend on you for them to live, some work at dermatology, cosmetics Botox etc. Life is about $$ and it's sure not fair !
I'm really thinking you should stick with your other endeavors that don't include nursing. It doesn't sound like nursing is for you. Flame me all you want, but... nursing schools are churning out a bazillion new grads a year these days and I'm finding more and more of my coworkers really don't have a passion for it... and it shows. Also, I highly suggest some English/language arts classes if you are seriously considering nursing school.

FYI when I'm typing on here I don't check my grammar or punctuations and? Maybe if you feel the so strong about grammar etc maybe you're in the wrong field ? If I've made it this far to get accepted in to a nursing program don't you think I got what it takes lol? Like common. Aside from that I'm unsure what I will do.

Can I just say, please don't go into nursing. I wouldn't want anyone, nurse, doctor, lab tech, working on me with an attitude like yours. That attitude seems like it came straight out of Walmart and should stay there. Lol.
Be a dancer.
Stick with your dancing job. Make that $$$$$$$$$ and then, open up a studio and teach other people to dance. You'll get your business and won't have to waste time in school since "it's not worth it in the end."
Option 2: divorce your husband and find a sugar daddy since you seem to crave money without having to put in the hard work.
Whatever you decide, do not go into nursing.
Well, if your end goal is to be a stripper and house flipper, why not just concentrate on that? If you didn't like being a CMA, I doubt you'll like being an RN.
I never said I hated what I did as a CMA I just hated the ppl I worked with and their rude comments and attitude that's why I quit. I'm still skeptical on furthering on to RN might just start in January instead of this fall to save $ and pay some student loan off.

The way you responded to my thread makes you look like you like to feed off drama and lack education, if you're a nurse act like it! You're suppose to be an example for us future nurses act like a professional that you're suppose to be :)

Haha not bad idea but I love my husband and the line of work I decide to do don't reflect on my love life;)

Thanks! Yes I know it's not an easy way to riches with real estate however I do believe it can be rewarding financial freedom and I might learn my mistakes as I go into this business but have to get right back up. And yes I have the talent to make RN wage plus more as a dancer so that's why I thought shoot why not. I'm a work as a dancer for a year or two and save $ if I decide to go into nursing by than I will make it happen. I'm 25yo turning 26 so I feel
Like I need to take advantage of my looks/skills while I can if nursing is for me later it will be if not it's fine. I will save $ and invest in real estate hoping for that
