I have not worked as an RN in 8 years. I am returning to my former employer to work in the Level III NICU. Before I quit (I've been home with my triplets), I worked Mother-Baby (Postpartum) and Pediatrics. My kiddos (BBG) are former 28 weekers (1 was a micro-preemie) and spent 12-14 weeks in the NICU with numerous surgeries and issues. It was quite the roller coaster ride. They are my miracles! :redbeathe:redbeathe:heartbeat
I am very excited and honored to return to work in the NICU where my kiddos were born. It has a most special place in my heart, and I truly feel a calling to be there. But I am scared to death. I just pray my brain cells kick back into gear ASAP! I will be on a 16 week Internship and have preceptors. Today I went to Employee Health and HR and got my badge. I attend orientation on Aug 4-5 and start on the floor (I'm on nights 7p-7a) on Aug 6th. Wish me luck!

Congrats, you will do just fine!
Thanks, everyone! I passed the nursing medication test today (required for pre-employment), and that was a huge relief! Now I just have 2 CBL's to finish today, and then I'm done until Orientation next Monday.
