She said the pre licensure program is so competitive in CA, they get 150 applicants for 12 spots. The have 5 cohorts per year😔 She also said try to ace my science pre reqs and more importantly get a high TEAS score. The TEAS score is more important than the science courses per her. At this time they are taking TEAS scores at 89. This is going to be harder than I thought. I'm doing courses through straighterline right now....Just wanted to share the info😀

Any chance of moving to another state where it is offered? Texas has a LOT of capacity.

I dealing with the same situation. I need a really high Teas score because my GPA isn't the best.
Nah... I love LA. We just bought a house last year. I'm going to do the best I can, hopefully I can score at least 85 on the TEAS. You get 2 tries and the score is good for 5 years.

Hello I just found your post and have a question regarding the two tries for the teas test. Is there a certain amount of time before taking it a second time? For example, the community colleges here in San Diego want you to wait a year and also take a Prep course before the second try. Does WGU also have specific rules before retaking the test?

I am also in San Diego, and you might want to check the information on the TEAS again. I know that Grossmont just recently changed their policy so that you can submit a second TEAS score sooner. I don't know if the other CCs in our areas have made similar policy changes. I am also thinking of taking my TEAS again, and my counselor at WGU did not mention the need to wait a specific amount of time before retaking. Also, WGU really focuses on your reading score, so try to knock that out of the park. I hope that helps. Good luck!
