I registered and will be start my pre-reqs at dcccd the north lake college. Well I decided to finish looking at there sight so that I can take a phlebotomy course, since im already a CNA. Well they DONT have one. So while im at work one of my coworkers tells me she goes to a TCCCD school. So i look up there sight and THEY HAVE EVERYTHING! I applied to both DCCCD and TCCCD but TCCCD is about 30 mins away from me and DCCCD is about 5 mins. So now im irritated because im taking courses at DCCCD that are not needed at TCCCD and i already paid cash for my classes.... I think im going to just stay this fall and transfer for spring to TCCCD. So that i can get my phlebotomy certification, and maybe my MA too so i can work and school.

Yes, it's a good idea to do all your research before you make a decision. A lot of schools have different classes that they require and it's good to make sure you're taking the right ones.

Word of advice --- just make sure that your courses are transferable. I'm not sure what kind of schools you're talking about (community college? tech school?). Not all schools cross-transfer so be careful and do some more research.
its a community college.

You should be good with transferring with a community college but I always call to make sure they all my courses transfer cause I am heading to a new school in the fall and that was my biggest thing. I want all my courses to transfer because I have been to those technical schools in the past for a different career and none of the courses transferred thats why I am back at the bottom....Never again. LOL Good luck!!
