I just received my NCLEX-Rn results earlier today... after the long and agonizing wait since sept 7 hehehe...

one more thing... how do i get my SSN #? can i fly to califonia and get it? in what ways?

Congratz!

You can also get SSN if you have EAD (Employment Authorization Document), which you can get 15 days after you applied for adjustment of status (AOS) at the same time applying for EAD.

AOS can be applied while in the US and visa is available.

If going for Consular Processing, you can also apply for SSN when you filled-out DS-230 form. There is a portion there about SSN.

You can't get a SSN with a tourist visa as that not is a Visa OKing you to work in the US
