I passed with 18 Select all that apply!

Published

I was sweating as I received 18 select all that apply mostly one after the other! After 75 questions it shut off and I really did not know how I did! I found out using Pearson-vue Trick and today via quick results that I really passed! Good luck to everyone. You can do it if I can!

When I took mine I only had 4 SATA, zero hot spots questions, zero audio questions, and zero drag and drop questions. It shut off at 75 and seriously, was only confident that I knew 2 questions.

My first 7 or 8 were SATA in a row! I was miserable! Can't talk specifically about questions because I gotta protect my new license! I guess you just have to try to know everything and hope you can get questions you can answer. I think there is an element of crapshoot if you are gonna get done in 75 questions.

This what I think, I could be wrong however, they say that you need to pass 50% of the difficult level to pass the nclex right? Okay so you get 75 questions min for Rn and 85 min for Lpn, 15 are unscored or not graded questions, so for the Rn nclex 60 will be graded and you have to pass 50% of the difficult level. So if you pass at least 30 difficult level questions you pass the nclex. If you don't pass enough difficult questions by question 75 or 85 it will keep going until you pass half of the difficult level questions or maybe you pass enough, and then nclex determine.

I took mine today and had 32 SATA out of 75...yup, no joke. The rest were multiple choice. I was shaking when I left and am just ready for Friday to come so I can find out and be done with it all!

How did you do??? I took mine today and could not believe I must of had 40 SATA. I want to cty my eyes out, no way I passed. Hope your went better!!

Holy crap, you guys are freaking me out with all these SATA stories? I HATE those questions. I take the test in about 2 months. What is the best way to prepare for the SATA?

I am thoroughly convinced (as are several of my former classmates) that the folks that develop NCLEX test questions are evil. The ppl that make up the SATA are devils incarnate. The fact that those of you who had numerous SATA questions and passed - congratulations.

SATAs flip me out. Perhaps those questions on your exams were the ungraded ones that are being tested for use on future exams.

I take NCLEX for the first time a week from today. I've been reviewing Saunders, lab values, and drug classes. Several of the mneumonic devices that I have gotten on allnurses (MRS WEE, SPIDERMAN, and MyChxHeZTB), plus several that I made up - are being committed to memory.

Every time I look at Saunders or Frye's Bullets, I get freaked out because I come ax stuff that I've never seen before. *** is that about? But after doing nine hundred thousand questions, I'm getting the hang of how to answer. And even if I don't know squat about the subject, I can usually (sometimes, hopefully) figure it out.

In any case, I need to get back to my review. Enough distraction! My butt has become one with my office chair. My neck is stiff from having to hold my up head that is extra heavy because it is crammed full of facts, drug information, math formulas, conversions, OB, kid diseases, etc. My teeth have gotten stained because I've been drinking coffee and tea for a coupla weeks.

And good luck to all the upcoming NCLEX test takers. Later...

SATA craps me out especially that im still reviewing..how did u know that your correct and its great that all of you passed..any advise how?

Yea sata are hard I always pick 1 to many or not enough I take my test in March hopefully I'll be ready by then.

I had 20 SATA out of 75 questions! Every time another one popped up, I would think "You have got to be kidding!"
