Congrats!!! You guys have it so easy. When I took mine, back in 1977 we sat for our boards and had to wait up to 8 weeks for results. When that letter came I didn't want to open it. My wife had too. I know how frustrating it can be especially when the computer stops at a certain amount of questions and you don't know if it means pass of fail! Good luck in your new career.

Hi Gentlemen! We can now add a new RN to the profession! I took my NCLEX-RN on Tuesday morning. When I left the testing site I felt okay about how I did. I had 75 questions and it seemed to be about 75% peds questions. It took about an hour and a half. By Weds evening when I left work I had convinced myself that I had failed the exam. When I checked the testing centers web after work it said my results were unavailable. I looked at the Wisconsin state department of regulation and liscensing web site and my permanant liscense was displayed! So...
I PASSED!!!
:roll I am now an full fledged part of a wonderful proffession! Thanks to Allnurses.com and to all of you guys who have posted and let me know that I could make it too.
For all of you guys who are concidering nursing as a career or who are in the midst of the process that is nursing school, I say enjoy it and hang in there.
