I don't know if you all remember, but I failed the NCLEX-RN exam twice, and my manager told me to take the NCLEX-PN exam, so at least I can start working and she would keep me on. Well, I decided to do it. I had three weeks to study, so I bought the "Saunder's Strategies" book and read it 3 times. I did the 205 practice questions in the back, as well as the 500 question study, and the tests, because I only had 3 weeks.
Well, I didn't tell ANYONE I was taking it. I took it on the 3rd. I just called my BON licensing line, and they had a license # for me, with exp. date. I still haven't checked with Peasonvue yet, but I'm guessing that means that I PASSED....:monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance:
Now, I can focus on Suzanne's plan for my NCLEX-RN. I'm almost done with the first tip. I definately know that "SAUNDER's" is the BOOK for me. I did Kaplan twice, and failed twice. I'm definately sticking with Saunder's ONLY...

you see, i tried to use the ABC,s etc but could not identify them because of how close the options were. also about knowing which equipment was not functioning properly. some i knew nothing about. also who would be discharged to make room for incoming patients etc. most of those persons were unstable with potential for complications.it was difficult to narrow them down. i honestly did not get stuff i studied so hard for especially focusing on my weaknesses. any way thank you and good luck with round 2.
