Hello everyone , I have been attached to this website ever since I graduated from nursing school and I just wanted to thank all of you who pour your heart :heartbeat out and share your experienes with nursing your experiences have helped me get through NCLEX. And in return, I feel committed to continue this wouderful thread by helping others get through NCLEX (especially those who cannot afford Kaplan). I recently passed NCLEX and I didn't take Kaplan courses. Here's how I did it... I got Saunders comprehensive 4th edition, Exam Cram (I suggest you complete the book and try to score the minimum of 77%), I also bought the book from La Charity which I highly recommend,(NCLEX had alot of prioritization and delegation.) I also bought the Kaplan 2010 book (try and score a minimum of 70%). I recomend you know your infection control (MRSA, RSV, Droplet, Contact, Airbourne, etc.) I studied for a month and a half. I spent a month on review and about 2-3 weeks on straight questions :typing Before you begin make sure you make a calendar of the days you will be studing with the amount of hours per day and commit to it. Lastly trust in yourself and be confident because if I could do it you can too.
