It sounds to me like you are basically just wigging out when you get to the reading section. My best advice to you is to buy a GED book and go thru the reading section. Take the practice tests and read the test taking advice. It may sound remedial, but it would probably be a huge help to learn some of the basics of test taking in this area.
HOW I PASSED THE TEAS READING!!!
If you need help passing the TEAS READING I have tips for you. I had to take it 4 different times before I actually passed. Every time I took it my score always improved. I've always struggled with reading comprehension..if you need some pointers read this!
Try to find a diagnostic test and take it. Find out your weak points and work on those. For instance if you have trouble finding the "main idea of a passage" google main idea practice and work on as many websites as you can.
I would also suggest do ALL the reading tests you can find online for the teas. Any study books that have teas reading, work on those practices tests.
Type in google "reading comprehension practice"- work on everything you can!!
Buy this website for the month!!! eyeQ Speed Reading
this thing is a life saver! It helps with reading comprehension and is only $20 for the month.
Lastly, download as many TEAS apps on your phone as you can, work on the reading sections.
Work mostly on reading if this is your weakness, 1 to 2hrs per day for a couple months. Good luck!!! Hope this helps you! :-)

I don't know why I can't pass the Reading Section of the TEAS for my school. All I need is a 69% and I keep getting anywhere from a 60-63%. I just find the Reading Section very tricky, not the short stories, but I am not good at reading maps, and a few other things that prevent me from getting a higher score. Gosh I don't know what to do. I know
