Could someone please answer my question, I would like to finish my degree to become a L.P.N and I have an old(8 yr) felony can I still obtain my degree the charge was theft and tampering with record- but it was a welfare fruad case. can I still get my degree?

I think this is a question for your state board of nursing. It is very possible you could go to school and get your degree, just to come out the other end and find out you can not be licensed. Find out about if your state will let you be licensed first.

In floriday any type of welfare fraud or medicaid fraud you have to wait 13 years from the offense to get licensed per the BON. Check your states Board Of Nursing.
