I need to work, can I join a nursing program at centro or Brookhaven?

Published

Hello I'm new here, I'm interested in pursuing a career in nursing and hopefully further if situation permits. So far I've looked into El Centro and Brookhaven colleges. My question is does any of them offer this program via evening classes mostly or online? I need to keep a full time job as I do have a family to look after. Chime in please

I moved your post to the school/college forum to ensure maximum responses.

You should be able to find this info on their websites while you wait on replies from those who can provide personal experience.

Al Centro makes mention of not having evening classes but Brookhaven seems to. I just wanna hear from actual students of those institutions and perhaps when talking to a real person I can better be equipped to come to a decision.

Hi there, Texas Woman's University offers a night/weekend program for a BSN.

The campus is located near Parkland & UTSW. A majority of my classmates worked full time during the program.

I don't try wanna go for a four year degree. I wanna do a step by step and see where I fit in with work and family and finances. How about Collin College?

Do you have to have shots and health insurance?

Shots (or titers) and health insurance can be expected requirements at any nursing school.

Think about Grayson College. Perhaps you could get in to the LVN program, then bridge to the RN.

It makes a nice stepping-stone approach to getting your RN degree....
