I know that someone out there has the secret; where do they keep all the decent men's scrubs? Just because I haven't seen any guys wearing something I actually like doesn't mean they aren't out there, does it? Right now I'm in solids because it's the only I can wear and keep self respect. (one of my friends who's been a nurse for 25 years either looks like Barney or a model for really bad wallpaper, and I just can't bring myself to do it.)
So where do I buy decent guys scrubs? I want something stylish, something cool. I DO NOT want the following;
sport team prints/logos.
NASCAR scrubs (those had to be designed by a bitter wife)
wallpapery prints of basketballs or motorcycles
more dang solids.
Any suggestions?
If you don't like solids, is it because you're wearing the same color head to toe? If you're the type to wear scrub jackets, try white shirt, jacket and scrub pants match and are some other color... breaks it up a bit.
I know I have seen scrub tops with contrasting color piping as well, so maybe the solids have a little dash of color in there somewhere. That's not too bad but I don't pay attention to what the men wear unless I can see their undies. ("pull your britches up dadgummit!") You could also vary the color of your tee shirt under the scrub top? It doesn't have to be white.
You know what, I don't think I've ever seen a man wear print scrubs. Ever.

One of the RTs at my work alwats looks nice in his scrubs but he is a bit flashy for me. I don't know many men that will wear pink or purple but he is one that can pull it off. What pulls him together is his shoes and labcoat. He ALWAYS matches his shoes with what he is wearing! I have no idea where he gets them, I am a serious shoe shopper and this guy could teach me some things lol. But he also does the solid color t-shirts with scrub pants and a lab coat and then his shoes always match whatever color shirt he has on. I wish I had pictures....
