I NEED HELP! Tribute Speech to Nursing Instructors

Hi! We will be having our Capping and Pinning Ceremony this coming July, and I will be giving a tribute speech to nursing instructors. I come to check mr. google and see for a sample speech but sample speeches I have found are too genereal and doesnt directly point out to thanking nursing instructors until I got to visit this website once more.

I appreciate teachers very well especially my nursing instructors, they teach us lessons beyond the scope of the objectives from our textbooks. They are worth the tribute. But although I have the feeling, I don't know things to be written. It will be my first time to render a speech to nursing instructors and I'm out of ideas. I want it to be a humurous yet a heart touching message. Can you show me a sample speech? That will be better, I guess.(I will not copy the whole speech, I will make my own. I just want to see a sample and have a guide to start doing it) If you dont have, can you just tell me ideas in giving and making a heartfelt tribute speech to nursing instructors? Thanks! That will surely be a great help! Godbless!

Write down the names of each instructor and consider them individually. Write down what about them was outstanding to you. Ask your fellow students...they should be included in this. Then consider the instructors as a group. What did they have in common in terms of their approach? How did some go above and beyond?

We had one instructor who, from day one, would say, "What are you going to do next?". Our response was, "Ask the nurse". The instructor would say, "You are the nurse".

So, start asking your classmates about their favorite experiences of instructors. They will have some. This sort of speech is heartfelt. So I shall be bold and suggest that using google is probably not going to help you.

I think it will be better if it really comes from your heart.

Chocoberry, any advice that we give you here will be just as general as what you found on Google. We don't know your instructors. If you want a humorous speech that is specific to your instructors, you need to come up with examples that are specific to your instructors.

There's no reason why you have to do this on your own. Ask your classmates to share their favorite memories and funny moments about their instructors. Then choose two or three of the best stories for each instructor and combine them all into your speech. Personal stories from your nursing class will create the most memorable and heartfelt speech, as well as give everyone a chance to remember the fun moments during your pinning.
