  1. I dont know if it fits Kant's principle. It must be given to the president of the country since he leads the majority. If I choose the uncle, that is only for personal interest. If it's the poor girl, she cant avail paying the expenses. If the medical student, his service is not as in majority to that of the president of the country who leads the majority of the people . Therefore, it must be given the president of the country. What do you think?
  2. [h=2]BioEthical Dilemna: To whom will you give the organ?[/h]As a health care professional, if you are confined in this situation, that you are to choose to whom will you give the organ, to whom will you give it? is it to the president of the country? to a medical summa cumlaude medical student? to your uncle who sponsored your schooling? to a poor girl? Grrr
  3. I am confused. Because our professor asks us to make the ncp of postpartal blues. How is it different from postpartal depression, and which is appropriate to making the ncp?
  4. Please guide me doing my ncp. Postpartal blues occur to as many 50percent of women during the postpartal period. Women experience some feelings of overwhelming sadness. This temporary feeling after birth has long been known aas the "baby blues" and this maybe caused by hormonal changes, particularly the decrease in estrogen and progesterone with the delivery of placenta. Write a nursing care plan for a patient experiencing postpartal blues. For subjective data, write a verbatim that you expect your patient to say if she had postpartal blues. (5 problems) So the problems maybe 1. Irritablity 2. tears (the patient may say she can't explain why tears fall from her eyes) 3. loss of appetite 4. difficulty sleeping
  5. I dont find a reference regarding this. I saw none in my book, really. But the homework says there are 3 types of contraceptive methods: Natural method, artificial method, and surgical method of contraception. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each method. AND list and describe 2 specific and most frequently used contraceptive method for each type. Anyone who could direct me to a reference? either a website will do. thanks!

  10. Hi! We will be having our Capping and Pinning Ceremony this coming July, and I will be giving a tribute speech to nursing instructors. I come to check mr. google and see for a sample speech but sample speeches I have found are too genereal and doesnt directly point out to thanking nursing instructors until I got to visit this website once more. I appreciate teachers very well especially my nursing instructors, they teach us lessons beyond the scope of the objectives from our textbooks. They are worth the tribute. But although I have the feeling, I don't know things to be written. It will be my first time to render a speech to nursing instructors and I'm out of ideas. I want it to be a humurous yet a heart touching message. Can you show me a sample speech? That will be better, I guess.(I will not copy the whole speech, I will make my own. I just want to see a sample and have a guide to start doing it) If you dont have, can you just tell me ideas in giving and making a heartfelt tribute speech to nursing instructors? Thanks! That will surely be a great help! Godbless!
  11. here is what i've found so far: -- answers for some of the above questions. # They are both units of energy, but the dietary Calorie (note the use of upper case 'C') equals 1000 'physics' calories. The physics calorie represents an amount of energy needed to raise (or lower) one gram of liquid water by one centigrade degree. That amount of energy is too small to conveniently describe the energy content of food, so the physics 'kilocalorie' is used instead and is, confusingly, called simply a Calorie in dietary terminology. A food Calorie, then, is the amount of energy needed to change the temperature of one KILOGRAM of liquid water (a volume of one liter) one centigrade degree. The food Calorie is often spelled with an upper case 'C' to distinguish it from the smaller calorie. # Sterilization destroys all microorganisms, including bacterial endospores. Sterilization should be used for instruments, surgical gloves and other items that come in direct contact with the blood stream or normally sterile tissues (Spaulding 1939). It can be achieved by high-pressure steam (autoclave), dry heat (oven), chemical sterilants (glutaraldehydes or formaldehyde solutions) or physical agents (radiation). # Pascal's principle states that the fluid pressure at all points in a connected body of an incompressible fluid at rest, which are at the same absolute height, are the same, even if additional pressure is applied on the fluid at some place. That means that if you measure a person's blood pressure in their arm, at the same height as their heart, the pressure measured is the same as the pressure within the heart itself. I just had 3 of 8.
  12. so we will have our capping this july and we need to come up with a good theme that will really inspire. do you have any idea? your help will be much appreciated. thanks in advance!
  13. Thanks for reminding! But I am just a starting freshman student and doesn't know more about that. This scenario is focused on the application of the skills of critical thinking to find interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation to resolve a situation related to patient's pain. Your ideas, information and corrections to my previous answer is gladly appreciated. That would be of help to me!
  14. I think I must reduce first his anxiety level and his sense of restlessness and also his pain. I must look at the occurence of his nausea and indigestion. But how can I do that? How will I know? How is it related to chest pain?
