I need help with the NCLEX

Published

I feel a bit embarrassed, but I'm running out of options. I need help studying to pass the NCLEX-RN. I graduated in June of '09 and I have already taken it 4 times and I am becoming quickly discouraged that I'll ever pass...

I don't do well studying by myself, at least not at first. I've tried a few different things and have still been unsuccessful. I'm looking for a tutor in the Cincinnati, Ohio area that could help me or maybe give some suggestions.

Thanks,

Ashlie

Good luck finding a tutor. Meanwhile keep working at it.

I would do the Kaplan review. I know this sounds insane, but it felt like there were questions DIRECTLY from it. They have a comprehensive set of videos that are priceless and very good for in depth review. It's like sitting in your 2nd semester renal/cardio/resp/critical care/ob/psych class again and knowing in detail what you knew when you were in the course. They also have a great Qbank with 1000+ questions and the infamous QT tests. I feel forever indebted to them, and I don't even know if I passed my NCLEX-RN yet (took it this morning)!

Good luck Mashira!

Thanks you all for the suggestions...

I have tried Kaplan's before, but, maybe, its worth another try! At this point I'm desperate to try anything. I haven't tried Saunders Comprehensive... I recently signed up for the NCSBN 3 week review and ran out of time- has anyone used this?
