I am a graduate of Practical nursing in the Philippines. I'm planning to take the nclex-pn exam next year. But I am just confused on the process on how to go about it if I do it on my own. I am planning to apply for licensure to the board of nursing in California. Are there any agencies that you can recommend who can help me on this?

Moving your post to the Philippine forum. If you are looking for using LPN for immigration then I have some bad news for you, for immigration you have to have RN unless you have your greencard via another route ie marriage to US citizen. Plenty of threads in the Philippine forum discussing this.

Welcome to allnurses.com :balloons:

Most of the threads re: Foreign LPN grads were already indexed on one of the Sticky above. You can read more about it there.

And just to add in to this, do not use any agencies for licensure, as you will not be able to work in the US with this.

Please take the time to read the stickies at the top of this forum, the only way that you have a chance of getting to the US to work is if you have RN after your name, and the US only accepts the BSN from the Philippines as that is the only degree that they will permit to write the NLE and get licensed in your country.
