You could CLEP the Human Growth & Development... I did. I bought the REA CLEP guide (which I am selling on Ebay), I have Santrock Life Span Development, and I also have a HG&D CLEP guide that was sent to me. I'll send you the pdf file if you pm me with your email address. I studied for about 2 weeks, and took the test. They sent the results almost immediately to Excelsior. I'm also trying to get as much done as I can before Oct 1, and plan to enroll before that date.
Thanks Barbara, I am going to send you my email address. I still need to come up with one other class that will count toward the degree so I will have everything over with except for the micro.

if you plan on going for your bsn, then try to take something that would apply to that degree as well. most bsn's require something like nutrition or statistics. both classes suck majorly but they are required courses. you dont need them for the asn. but if you do want your bsn my advice is to take a relevant course. good luck to you.:)
I sent you the file... good luck!

The world religions DSST was quick and relatively easy and the Life span development was not too bad either. Both cheaper than EC.

I'm hoping to take neurophysiology and genetics as my electives... I think they would be really interesting.
If you are wanting something easy, try an online psych class.
Good luck!!

Hey Ladies, on the same boat..looking to start ASAP
I am taking a great class from Straighterline... Medical Terminology. Worth 3 credits. I started it Tuesday morning, and will finish today or tomorrow. Total time spent... 4 to 5 hours. Highly recommended!
