I have MPH in epidemiology, in school now to get BSN and PHN, is it worth getting MSN?

I had a question about whether it's worth getting an MSN if I already have an MPH, nursing director at my job tells me it's not going to be different from MPH but just want others opinion. Will I be as marketable with MPH BSN PHN as I will if I get MSN MPH BSN PHN?

It will depend upon the job openings at the time. I would go over such with a fine tooth comb until the time comes to decide. You should have a good idea by then.

Just a bit of advice if you should ever decide to go back for an MSN: you have a graduate degree. Look into a DNP. There are DNP programs (leadership focus, usually) that recognize a graduate degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, etc.) as appropriate for entry into a DNP program.

Thanks! Yea still mulling whether or not to go get NP, don't know if I want to have all that malpractice liability looming. I know RNs can make about the same if they work it right too.
