I missed Welcome Day

I missed Welcome day at my Nursing school. I was very sick Friday, and that was when it was. I couldn't go to welcome day. Today is Monday, and I sent them an email. What happens if you miss welcome day? I'm scared they're going to kick me out!

At my school it's a mandatory meeting..not sure what the consequences are for missing it. I think you'll be alright.

The way I have heard from fellow students at my school is that if you don't show up its just like not accepting your seat and you will lose it. I hope this isn't the case with your school and they let you slide since you were sick!
