  1. Technical math. It's basic math like addition multiplication, without using a calculator. It doesn't matter if you are a CNA. You will have to take the CNA course.
  2. It won't be too bad. You will take a terminology class in the fall. In the spring you will take a math class and a CNA class.
  3. That's good. Since you still have 2 sciences left, you will probably be on the three year track.
  4. I hadn't taken any pre-reqs before attending the school. I've been completing them this year at the school. Are you going for RN?
  5. I'm also a student at this school.
  6. I did last year. I had a low GPA from high school, and they let me in. As long as you have a 17 on your ACT, you should get in.
  7. I have already been accepted to nursing school, and they are telling me that this is the order that I have to take my classes.
  8. Right now I'm in 15 credits. My only 2 options are to take 18 credits the next 2 semesters, or take 20 credits next year. I'm taking these classes next semester: A& P 2, microbiology, sociology, psychology, nutrition, intro to nursing, and technical math for nurses.
  9. Is this possible? Is it doable, I also have clincals, too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Yes, it's a requirement at my school. I'm taking it right now. The class is really boring.
  11. I am taking chemistry this year, and we were told to buy the books in advance. Somehow, I bought the 8th edition, and he wanted the 7th. How will this effect me by having a newer edition? We have to do the chapter reviews as homework. Will they be different problems?
  12. This fall, I'm taking: English comp 1 Fundamental chemistry 1 with lab A & p 1 with lab Spiritual perspectives Nursing student success Medical terminology with lab I'm taking 15 credits this semester, and returning to school since I graduated high school 3 years ago.
  13. I took this test, and it said that I was a visual learner. So very true! It's important to know your learning style.
  14. I missed Welcome day at my Nursing school. I was very sick Friday, and that was when it was. I couldn't go to welcome day. Today is Monday, and I sent them an email. What happens if you miss welcome day? I'm scared they're going to kick me out!
  15. I start college in three months, and I am wondering what are some good books to read before I start? Should I start reading Nursing books? If so, what are some good ones?
