It would be better if you got in touch with a local NICU and asked if there was someone who would be willing to be interviewed. Not only could you then verify their identity (which you can't do online), but you might make a networking contact that could come in handy in the future.

It depends whether the speaker will be identified and their work location.You could do your interviews here and then visit a local NICU to see if someone would read your article and offer suggestions.
