I know a hospital school is a little different, so I have a question

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I begin a diploma program through our local hospital in the fall. I have all prereq's needed, but they suggested we take A&P classes through them. Is it going to be terribly overwhelming taking Nursing and A&P at the same time?

I don't know, when I went to lpn school we had anatomy during the course and it was not overwhelming. I can imagine if you were going to a hospital school where the classes are separate it would be. My college is a hospital but they give asn, MSN, and bsn. We also take our classes separate. I hope this was helpful.

I am going to a hospital diploma school in the fall too. I have already taken all of my non-nursing classes, but they way my program is structured you would normally take A&P with your nursing classes, there are no prereqs required before you begin. I think that your nursing classes will go along with what you are learning in A&P and that is why they recommend it, but that's only a guess.
