Hi, I just took my NCLEX-PN this morning and got physically sick afterwards. I know every NCLEX test is different, but on the average what does it mean if it stops at 85 and the majority of the questions were prioritize, check all that apply. I wanted to check all that apply if I had ever heard of half of the disease processes. What does it mean if you had a wide array of question content? I had psych, maternal/child, peds, adult. Absolutely no math. After 85 questions, when the machine stopped, I was like..."Well, there goes 200 bucks". What are considered higher level questions??
Thanks,
from one stressed out anxiety ridden hopeful PN:monkeydance:

Good luck, Eka! Hard to tell anyone anything for certain based on the info we have here, but most people do pass - even the ones who feel physically sick and very uncertain afterward. Let us know how it goes.

I took the NCLEX PN this week and I feel just the same as you do. Mine also stopped at 85 and I had no math and those select all that apply also a very wide subject content. I don't feel like I passed but I guess everyone feels that way. Good luck to you!

85% pass the first time, the number of questions means nothing, as well as if you got the last question right or wrong. Trying to read anything into the exam is only going to cause more issues for you.
Wait until you get your results, and best of luck to you.:wink2:
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
