I know what different options test for!

So....anyone who is in TPAPN and tests at Quest Diagnostics, you know that they give you a COC form they print out. I can't believe I have never noticed this before, but the COC forms give you the test code!

At the top left, where it says "Tests to be performed" there will be a code there. Well I looked up the code (out of curiosity, I am completely clean) and sure enough it was a quest code for a substance abuse panel!

I usually only get option 1 or 4 but here it is!

Option 4: Drug Abuse Panel 1

It's crazy how alcohol not on the list yet they tell you that you can't consume it. I'm not in tpan but I had a feeling that all these test was testing the same thing yet for different options you have to pay different prices. Like I say these people all for the money not recovery.

They can add an Etg to any panel.

Sorry not correct. Because of some difficulty I have had with option 1 and the ethanol test it incorporates, I was switched to option 3 an option 4 only. And as it was discussed with my case manager, I can tell you that three and four test for a whole lot more drugs than listed there including over the counters. And option 3 and 4 are the EGT where as

option 1 is the ethanol.

And my lab guy who is well versed in affinity says nothing on the COC indicated what is being tested. Only Quest knows and I know for sure that option one is ethanol and option 3 and 4 EGT and include a multitude of drugs including cough syrup,Benadryl and Sudafed.
