Accredited colleges will only accept official transcripts sent directly from the registrar. Sometimes a school will ask for a student copy with initial application but in all cases an official is required.

You have to send in an official copy of your transcripts. I don't think they can be faxed because then there is no way to prove they are official. When I sent mine in, it was in a sealed envelope with the seal signed by a university official.

Have your previous school send them an official transcript. You can do an unofficial self-assessment here: http://www.excelsior.edu/self_rev.htm
scroll down & click on the publications page link. You can pretty much assume that most of your general eds will be accepted, but none of my LPN courses were- just FYI.

Ditto to all the above. It must be sent in by your old school... official and unopened.

I think you can mail just plain transcript when applying to have EC evaluate you initially, but when you enroll into EC formally you have to send official copies.
