Hello! I finally mailed in my grad school application today for the adult acute/critical care NP MSN program I've been dreaming about forever! :) Now all I have left to do is keep studying for my GRE next month & wait to hear back from the school. Oh my gosh, the nerves are already setting in! I really, really REALLY want to get into this program....can you tell? :) Ok I'm done freaking out(for now)-thanks for listening.

Hi Christy!!
I'll be sending happy thoughts your way!
Where did you apply?
Thank you Peachy!!! :) I applied to UMASS Grad School of Nursing in Worcester, MA (I live 7 minutes away from it). I am so dying to get into their program for next fall. :)

Congrats! It is a live-changing decision just to enroll. Are you aware there are books and websites to help you with GRE? Remember, it is not NCLEX, so your license is not at stake. Somehow that made the testing easier for me. Good luck.
Hi Christy!!!
I hear that's a GREAT program--and double blessing that you live so close!!
I'll be crossing my fingers, legs, toes, heart and eyes for both of us!!:redbeathe
Hey Peachy-where did you apply for grad school? I'll be crossing my fingers for you as well! :) Isn't it so exciting?! :) Purplemania-yep, I've been working through 2 GRE prep books-Barron's and a vocab builder book. Plus I just got this GRE prep CD rom in the mail that I'll start working on soon. Thanks! :)
Hey Christine!!!
Nope, I wish I were going for graduate school! I'm applying for Johns Hopkins' traditional 2-year BSN program. I just kinda drifted over to this forum when Smile123, FutureNurseJess, and Eliza and the others started the Direct-Entry thread.
At this point, I'm ready to tear my hair out.
You'll do fine on the GRE..as long as you get a couple of weeks of good solid prep-time and bring some gum and stay calm, I have no doubts!
Take care,
Tanya
