I just registered for my first semester of Nursing school!!

Hello everyone!!! I have literally been stalking this site since 2011, when I started my pre reqs and this is my first post. I have been dying to say I too have been accepted into nursing school. I have finally finished the thousands of steps it takes just to be able to register in AVC's nursing program. I start August 18th and I cannot wait. I know that the hard work hasn't even begun yet but I am just going to enjoy the happiness I am feeling before the stress and sleepless nights take over my life. Lol!!!

My program starts in august as well. However I won't start till the spring because I'm an LPN going into a tradition program setting. It sounds like we have been on the same course toward our goals. I was so excited when I received my acceptance letter too! Good luck with your studies!

I second this. I vent a lot on here and I really wouldn't want to be identified because it's just me letting it out and letting it burn and moving forward. Anyway, congratulations! I'm just finished up my first year. Don't let the first bit throw you -- it is an adjustment and you do have to let your happy relationship with sleep and free time go away a little bit. But once you learn how to gear up and get used to all the craziness, it'll get much better. Have fun and embrace EVERYTHING!

Eep! I just made my schedule for the fall semester yesterday :) I'm so excited to begin. I did the same thing you did though and stalked this website about the teas test and getting into school, and finally made my account yesterday cause I'm finally in! Congratulations! I have been accepted into nursing school as well, and I start on August the 27th. I am a little bit nervous, but I guess that is normal :). I can't wait to start my fall semester. I only need to take Pharmacology and Pathophysiology in the summer terms. I hope that goes good for me.
