I just came home sad and depressed from taking the NCLEX-RN today. I was almost certain that the exam had defeated me. I decided to do the Pearson Vue trick and was suprised to see the GOOD POP UP. I am soooooo excited. I hope that this is true. 75 questions, 2 hours, 2 exhibit, infection control, prioritizaion and delegation, lots of OB questions, 2 pshych and a few meds that I actually knew. I reviewed for 8 weeks with Kaplan online.

Congrats!!! I took the NCLEX-PN yesterday. It stopped at 85 questions & everything inside of me wanted to scream "NOOOOOOOO" (but you can't do that..you're being videotaped lolol). I was for sure that it stopped me b/c I was doing badly. I had a ton of Peds & maternity, endocrine, couple of respiratory & cardiac q's. About 5 SATA, two ordered responses, 1 math question, and even an EKG rhythm. A ton of pharm questions, but mainly a bunch of PRIORITY questions! I got home and got the "good" pop-up..hope it's true. Tomorrow I'll find out for sure!!

CONGRATS to you both!!
Can both of you share your study techniques with us?
I used the NCSBN 3 week course. It's only $50 (but I would definitely recommend to purchase it for 5 weeks, it's only $20 more). I also used Saunders Comprehensive (4th edition, we were required to buy it in school). I used the Kaplan QTrainer that I found on this site, and I read some of the "Random Facts" pdf that can be found here Random facts . I also read a little bit of the ATI Med-Surg book.
The thing I noticed about the NCLEX is it's not like ATI where it's more content based, it was really more so about critical thinking.

Congrats:hrnsmlys:
I used Kaplan on demand. Reviewed content in detail, looked at all of the Kaplan videos repeatedly. Reviewed the Kaplan coursebook everyday for at least 6 hrs per day until I was able to explain to myself the concepts that were difficult to me. Did 97% of the Q bank questions with a 68% average.
Q trainer 1 - 64
Qtrainer 2 - 60
Q3 - 58
Q4 - 47
