I couldn't study anymore so I rescheduled my AANP exam for 3 weeks ahead of my planned date. I just took my exam two days ago and failed. I have spent five months studying, every day and every night. The test was rediculous! I did the Fitzgerald live review, Leik intense review book, Exam Edge, endless exam questions online and books. I felt prepared except in a couple of areas (immunizations and antibiotics). The questions on the test were NOTHING like in the books. I passed all my predictor exams (one I got a 59%). Even getting an 88% on the PSI exam. My scores were increasing for every exam I took. My email address is [email protected] if anyone has ideas or if you would like to do a study session. I don't know how we would go about doing that online, but I am willing to do anything at this point!!!

Can you be more specific in your test difficulties? Did you not understand the questions? Did you not remember the material? This will guide you in studying for retaking the exam.

Which program did you attend?

Walden. I'm sorry my email never alerted me that I received these messages....

I'd be really careful of judging. I've been a nurse for 7 years, graduated top of my class, and failed my exam today. I've studied non-stop for three weeks, and I felt like I was taking the exam in a foreign language. If you pass the first time, that's awesome, but people come to this site for help and guidance, not to be judged by others who have never walked in their shoes.
