  1. Congrats and thank you so much for sharing. I was in the same exact situation! I graduated with honors every year and passed every predictor exam. I can always get down to the final two answers but when it comes between those two I always pick the wrong one. Another thing that I get stumped on is words or diseases or medications I am not familiar with. So without knowing any of that information I can't include it in and answer, so I'm kind of stuck in one place there. And of course the test anxiety doesn't help. I had to call into work today because I've just been cramming because I am so scared of failing again! Rebekkah
  2. I completely agree. Text me and I will help you!
  3. You know it's so funny that when I'm not in front of a computer and I'm answering questions I have no problems getting a majority of them right. But you put me in front of a computer and I cannot answer questions. So I tried the Berkley test today and I got a 46%. That was the most ridiculous test I have ever taken in my entire life. So, now I am working on Fitzgerald and Leik. So, you haven't taken boards yet?
  4. Walden. I'm sorry my email never alerted me that I received these messages....
  5. That is a very good question! I have gone through so many programs and books today that I can't even keep track. That's the thing too; I can answer really hard questions with no problem! It's these rediculus, easy questions that stump me!!!!
  6. Nope. B!!!! Are you serious? No wonder why people can't pass this test!
  7. Well, my second AANP exam is coming up quickly and I am scared to death. I am still not doing well on my questions and I have no idea why. I must be honest though, they are dumb questions that an average person wouldn't know, such as a nurse practitioner is assessing a 47-year-old client who has come to the office for his annual physical. One of the first physical signs of aging is? (THIS QUESTION WAS NOT FROM THE ACTUAL TEST. IT WAS FROM MY PRACTICE BOOK). A) having more frequent aches and pains, B) failing eyesight, especially close vision, C) increasing loss of muscle tone, or D) diminished hearing or taste. These are the kinds of questions I am failing on. Any 47 year old could go through any of those symptoms. I don't understand how they are picking these questions. I am so frustrated!!!!!!
  8. wow! good job! I also graduated from Walden in February and I waited a couple of months and studied exactly how you did and that scores very close to what you got and in June I took the test and failed. To this day I still have not taken it. I just got my verification code last week and I am just trying to keep up on my antibiotics and guidelines. I don't know what else to do. I think it is anxiety more than anything
  9. Jeana-You WOULD THINK your program is supposed to help students prepare them for the boards. My school was TERRIBLE!!! Here I am 6 months after graduation still trying to pass boards. I just bought the APEA MyQbank questions. Hoping that will help :)
  10. Queen b 2...How are you doing? What is your email address?
  11. I couldn't study anymore so I rescheduled my AANP exam for 3 weeks ahead of my planned date. I just took my exam two days ago and failed. I have spent five months studying, every day and every night. The test was rediculous! I did the Fitzgerald live review, Leik intense review book, Exam Edge, endless exam questions online and books. I felt prepared except in a couple of areas (immunizations and antibiotics). The questions on the test were NOTHING like in the books. I passed all my predictor exams (one I got a 59%). Even getting an 88% on the PSI exam. My scores were increasing for every exam I took. My email address is [email protected] if anyone has ideas or if you would like to do a study session. I don't know how we would go about doing that online, but I am willing to do anything at this point!!!

  13. Congratulations on passing! That is so exciting. I was going to take my exam on July 3, but decided to change it to 3 days from now. I feel that I am taking too many exams and I am feeling overwhelmed. I waited way too long to take the exam after graduation. But, I thought...I'm in no rush! Thank you for your comment!
