Hi all,
I have a pediatric sweet pea who has significant neuro deficiencies. She is unable to speak or communicate in any way whatsoever. She is also blind.
I noticed that this child was pretty much left on the bed alone, so I took it myself to provide as much diversional activities as possible.
I formulated my interventions around providing diversional activities using sounds, smells, and close physical contact, and one that engages the child's cognitive and social needs as much as possible. Problem is, I cant find a single nursing diagnosis in my text that matches up to what I did!!
Can you help?!

Your difficulty is that the nursing process doesn't work by performing interventions and then "picking" a dx to match your interventions -- the nursing dx is generated from your assessment data, and interventions flow from (are determined by) the dx. You're trying to do the process backwards.
Assessment data --> nursing diagnos(es) --> nursing plan/interventions --> evaluation
