I graduated in the Philippines 2008, I got my license 2012, worked in med sure/hospice unit, after a year i transfer to post op/orhto unit the sme hospital, I applied in CCU/ICU but when the manager called me for an interview i was pregnant and in my last term and a week away for my maternity leave, I didn't get hired because i think my vocabulary skills is not good and also i think i have failed to meet her expectations when she asked me situational questions. I was depressed and i lost my self confidence after that interview so now I'm scared to go back and reapply for the position, but now Im planning to move to ER department (same hospital) and Im more worried about the interview rather than the work load/ new environment. I need advice on how i can ace the interview and how can i impress the manager to and convince her to hire me. Btw, I am a fast learner and like to work understress and in a fast pace environment and always open for new experience ( as you see i keep transferring from one floor to another) Please help me.

Hi!
I moved your question to our Nursing Interview Help
See the interview FAQ section for interview articles like
How To Answer The Most Common Nursing Interview Questions
Wondering why you can't get hired or promoted: Resume + Interview hints!
Since you states "I didn't get hired because i think my vocabulary skills is not good and also i think i have failed to meet her expectations when she asked me situational questions." focus on these areas.
You can improve your writing/vocabulary skills by participating in discussions at allnurses and reading how our members phase nursing situations. Write out common interview key points and how you would answer--- go over responses several times so you can ingrain key words in your mind to bring up at interview. Practice with a friend interviewing you. English as a second language can be a barrier when fluidity of speech comes across as rushed, too soft or mumbled-- Managers are judging if patients will be able to understand you.
Best wishes in this quest.

I suggest reviewing the Interview Questions & Answers, then practicing out loud. It seems like you are already confident in your nursing skills...so as long as you're confident in interviewing...you should do fine!
Thank you guys you are the best!!
