i just recieved a letter in the mail from my school in nm. now i start the adn program sooner summer 2005. i complete the class for my cna thursday. does anybody have any other suggestions on some classes that i can take in the meantime!:balloons:

first of all, congrats on becoming a cna! i got my certificate during my lpn training, but never worked as one. i don't know of any classes, but if you can work on a med/surg floor, or in a specialty of your choice, you'll get to see alot and learn from the other nurses. the hospital may even give you opportunities to become a nurse intern during your summer off and then you'll have no problem getting a job as a nurse on that unit. being a cna and showing off your skills will be good in your don's eyes.

thanks j lynn for responding, that is a good idea i will try getting on the med/surg floor. i want to work in a place that is fast paced. thanks again for your help!:)
