Now the conundrum this time is where should I take the license exam????
I live(rent a room) in florida right now but my family are in texas.
I dont know if I should take the NCLEX in florida then get endorsement to texas or move to texas to where my family is and take the nlcex there but texas BON has another exam requirement called nursing jurisprudence before youre approved to take the nclex.
I know its a silly matter of which state gets my licensure virginity, but to me this is kind of a big deal.
Id like to hear some people's advice on what to do...
it is easier, faster and cheaper to test in the state from which you graduated nusing school as the information about you is already at the BON in that state. Then you pay a fee and transfer to Texas.
How is it "easier, faster and cheaper" to get licensed in one state and then immediately apply (and pay) for licensure in another state, as opposed to simply getting one license (in the state the OP wants to be in)?
