YAHOOOOOOO!
I completed the requirements as of yesterday, according to my Excelsior site.
Damn, I'm teary!
Congrats to you. I just started my first distent learning book Life span. I have so much more to go. Reading all the posts from you girls really motivates me to read my book. Can you tell me from start to finish how long the whole process took? By the way I am a working mom and LPN in the state of NY. I do private duty for the Dept of Health . I also work per diem in a nursing home . I have 8 years experience as an LPN and desperatly want to move on up.

GeorgyGirl, I became an LPN in 6/2006 and enrolled in Excelsior that August. I banged out the first few tests and then slacked off and banged out that last 4 in two months. That was 12/07. I then waited for a clinical test date, which I got for the end of May. Failed. Re-tested in early August and passed. Had my ASN marked as completed on 8/21 and will be an offical grad on 9/19. I'm still waiting for my ATT.
:)
Good luck! The first test is the hardest. Just schedule the next as soon as you finish the first. you can always change the date.
