I have a 1.9 gpa in my previous college, with alot of attempted credits and only few actually completed. I have some F's and W's on my record. Is it even possible for me to get into any nursing schools?

Yes, it is! I would suggest retaking some courses.

It won't be easy, but it's still possible. You might want to contact advisers or program directors from the nursing schools that interest you. Tell them about your background, and ask what you can do to PROVE to them that you are capable of succeeding in their program.
At a minimum, they would probably expect mostly A's in prerequisite classes you take, along with recommendation letters from some of your profs.
Good luck!

Ouch! I wish you the best! You are going to have to work EXTRA hard on all other entrance exams and pre-reqs than the average student starting, but you can do it. My school has a cutoff at 2.5 GPA but they also factor in the TEAS test and specifically how you did in science and math classes. It all depends on the school. Good luck and just work, work, work and prove to them that you will be worth it.

Talk with an Academic Adviser, not a counselor. My friend is in her mid 30s and had some Ds Fs and Ws from her early 20s when she was screwing around and not giving school much effort. They got the grades removed for her since she could prove that her current grades are As and Bs and she has obviously changed her ways.
