I'm so jazzed. I was going to have to take Anatomy and Microbiology this fall. I've already taken Anatomy, but it has to be in the last 10 years, so I was going to have to take it over. The director of our nursing program waived the requirement for me so I don't have to take it. So, now all I have is Microbiology to take next semester and that is my last class needed to apply to our program.
Yeah!!!!!!

The program I want to get into let me transfer in all the math and sciences that I took 15 years ago. Very few schools will take these classes when they are that old. What a relief to not have to retake them, and my husband is glad to not have to pay for them!
Congrats on getting a waiver, and good luck!

Did they waive both anatomy & physiology, or just anatomy (some schools separate the classes and some integrate them)? I am curious because if physiology is very helpful in nursing school (especially patho/pharm). Thus, if they waived physiology from over 10 years ago, I would probably want to take it again.. but if it is just anatomy, I wouldn't care because I rarely use my anatomy knowledge in nursing school.

Something you may want to consider...for an update, have you considered taking the class as an audit? That way, you don't have to worry about if you passe or fail it...no grade is reported.
