I got in!! having a tough time deciding which school

I am from new orleans and applied to LSU as well as our lady of the lake in baton rouge, really having a tough time deciding on which school to attend. Anyone with differing opinions about the schools who may have attended and maybe had the same dillemma? Any input would be appreciated.

I took statistics..... have you heard of any other classes we should take over the summer? Good luck with moving...... that is the least exciting part for me!

I'm with you ... moving is gonna be a pain in the hoo-ha. I haven't heard of any classes you can take over the summer. I have taken Adv. Pharm, Adv. Phys, and Chem & Phys for Anesthesia already ... not sure which ones or any will transfer.

Wow you took all those classes since May 2008? Good for you! I hope they transfer... when will you know if so? I wish I would have taken a few more classes but I enjoyed my free time!

Oh an where do you plan on living? I need to start looking into housing soon

Hey Emily! Sorry it's been awhile since I last replied ... been busy (and lazy :)). I am currently in NO right now ... heading back to Kansas on Tuesday. We went to BR, apt hunting, mid last week ... and we signed a lease for Cypress Lake, on Reiger. I'm excited!!! There were several places closer to the lake but they were a bit older and it was uncomfortable for me. Cypress Lake is gonna take me 15-20 minutes to get to the lake. I never knew how bad traffic was in BR!!!

What are your plans until school? We will be moving in July 31st. And that's when I'm planning on talking to the lake about my grad classes being transferred ... but looking at the curriculum, I would be surprised if they would transfer any of them.

I am going to sign to stay another 4 weeks in Philadelphia then who knows what I'll do between July-AUgust. I think I am going to rent a room from an old roomate who owns a house a few miles from school, since my boyfriend plans to move to Dallas to start working it will be just me in Baton Rouge. Thanks, Emily. Same to you! BTW, I talked to the school already about my grad classes about them being transferred and none of them will be. Apparently only stats and research are allowed to be transferred. Kinda sucks but I had that feeling already; just being a little optimistic :o

2 months until school starts! Did you receive the book list and invitation to the party after orientation? I am so excited about starting last night I worked my last shift of my travel assignment! FREEDOM! Any I hope all is well for you, I can't wait to meet you! Take care.
