I got my letter!!!

I finally got my letter in the mail and I GOT IN. I will nursing school in the fall. It is so hard to believe! At my college there were 300 applicant, only 37 were picked and I was one! I am so happy. I have wanted to be a nurse all my life and now if I work hard and study I will get to fullfil my dream. I just wanted to drop a line and brag. I feel so bad for the student who did not get in. You all will see alot more of me around asking question and needing help. Thank You all for being so supportive of each other

Congratulations, and work hard. You have to want to be a nurse pretty bad to go through the admission crap when there is such a scarcity of nurses!

Thank you all for being so supportive. Some of the girls at school are having a hard time accepting the fact that they did not get in and they are using every excuse in the book, enough about that. I am looking forward to being a part of the nursing profession. I am even looking forward to the classes (I know they will be very hard). I am a second career student so school means so much to me. I am really blessed to have this chance. My daughter is 6 and I always said when she started school I would go back too. Well, I lost my job due to NAFTA in August of last year. My daughter started school one week before me. No coincidence if you ask me. Sorry to rattle on and on. I am looking forward to getting to know you all much better in the next couple of years.

It must be such a relief to finally get your acceptance! I am with Fatima and won't hear until the first week of June. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do.....:crying2:

Hey Ginger!

I was just curious, what school will you be going to? I live in NC and I got my acceptance letter last week, so I was wondering if we weren't possibly in the same school? I'll be at JCC.

Congratulations to you!!! I remember all to clearly watching the mailbox for my acceptance letter and now in two weeks I graduate as an RN!!! Yeah!!!!
