Hey Congrats on getting in to Frankford school of nursing!

Im jeolous...

I'm going to be handing in my application tomorrow for the January 2009 start date...Do you guys have any advice? Anything would help?! I really really want to get into this school. I have a B.A. in Political Science but my grades were not the best. I'm completing my chemistry class right now.

Thanks for any advice that could help get into the program and I'd love to hear input on how the program is?

I just applied to Frankford as well for Jan 09. I have a degree in Sociology but my GPA sucked...(2.5). I'm still trying to be optimistic though

So far the school has its ups and downs... Penn State Abington sends their teachers to FHSON for all the non-nursing classes... For the most part the teachers are good but a few are a bit of a problem... Overall, I think it's a good school :) Let me know if you guys get in :) Good Luck

Does anyone know what tier 3 means on the application checkin list online mine says tier 3. It doesn't sound good so I was wondering if anyone knew??

Does anyone know what tier 3 means on the application checkin list online mine says tier 3. It doesn't sound good so I was wondering if anyone knew??

I was told that both tier 1 & 2 meant that you were just about in the program. Tier 3 means that your on the borderline and can go either way, anything higher than tier 3 and you can be certain that you wont get in. I'm a tier 3 also so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Great I'm nervous enough and can't wait till October to find out. I am not to cofident about getting in but am hoping for the best!

The decisions will be made before October I think. The person that I had my interview with told me that I should hear something by next week or so. Just keep checking the website. I'm also unsure about whether or not I will get in or not but I'm still trying to be optimistic.
