I got a CNA job!!!!

Published

I applied for a CNA position at a medium security correctional facility. This was in August of 2010. I received a phone call first week of April asking if I was still interested and I said yes. Had an interview and 3 weeks later was offered a position there. I'm not sure what to expect. It's a male facility (I'm male, btw). I was told during the interview not to wear blue or orange scrubs and it's a 10-hr shift. Anyone have any insight as to what times they work (shift hours) and what a CNA at a correctional facility does? I'm curious to find out.

As a lingering curiosity, does anyone think that me being 6'3'' and 350lb had anything to do with me getting hired, lol?

I thank you for all your comments and suggestions. Also, if anyone here works at a NV facility I'd REALLY want to hear your take.

Congrats on the Job!!
