So I think that's it for nursing for me. I'm not one to retake classes over and over until I get a 4.0 because I think that's a waste of time.. I think I will go and finish a Science degree, not sure what yet. If I'm still interested in Nursing, I might pursue it after I finish my BS degree..
Big bummer, but I had planned a Plan B because I know my 3.5 would not get me in.
Just thought I'd share! :yelclap:
Ok, I applied to a BSN program with a gpa of 2.8. Though I innitially was wait listed, I got in when someone else got out before the semester started. My gpa really wasn't reflective of the work I could do, but more of the lack of hard work I put in when I felt that nursing school was forever away. If you had a 3.5 here, you would have been a shoe in. Now that I'm in, I have all a's and b's.If you're really not that into nursing anymore like it sounds, then maybe you should just go through with the BS in biology. It would be awful to go through the program w/out your heart in it. We had a couple people quit our first semester after they decided nursing wasn't really want they wanted. So if you're feeling ambivilence, then go with your second plan, and good luck!
really?? Which program, bummer I thought I was up on all the accepted gpas....
