I am sure I am not the only one.

I was doing a rough estimate of what all classes I will be taking the next 3 semesters (BSN pre reqs) and it just about overwhelms me to see what all I have to do- I wonder if Im really smart enough!! Chemistry, Statistics, MORE algebra (I had to start with elementary algebra so I can take College Algebra), Microbiology, Zoology, Spanish 1 and 2 , etc and I just feel like throwing in the towel sometimes. But I really just want to get my BSN pre -reqs out of the way, I dont want to get my ADN and then half to go back and take all the BSN pre -reqs to get into the RN-BSN program while working (which is only 9 montsh here full time but its all the freakin pre reqs to get into that that suck! lol)

I wish I could meet someone who was actually hired part time out of nursing school- does that ever happen? If I *knew* for sure I could get hired part time right out of nursing school I would work part time and go to school for my BSN full time but I have yet to meet anyone who was hired part time right out of school (cause of length of oreintation and the hours that is, etc). I hear people saying that is what they "plan to do" but is that realistic? I need some input in that, I think Im gonna call some of the hospitals are here and see if they do that.

I am glad this semester is almost over. Im only taking 1 class this summer I decided so my brain wont fizzel out....lol

Just venting...lol Its late at night and I have a algebra and anatomy test next class! My brain is tired, I'm about cranial nerved out tonight.....lol

Cythia thanks so much. I had been wondering about the Psych Stats, I will definalty be taking that then. I looked on the back of my OU Nursing transfer thingy and it shows Pscyh Stats is approved! Yes I have taken Psychology. Developmental Pschology you will like, I am taking that right now with Kind online and it is SO EASY! Plus its a lot of stuff you already know (especially if you have been preg and have kids like we have).

No I didn't go to the OSU open house but a few of my friends did and they plan to apply there for this next semester. You have to take some test to get in but I heard it was not that hard. I guess the lady told them they dont have to deny many student...they accept 67 per semester!

Good luck with your classes and keep in touch!

You really need to attend orientation full time, but after that -- you should be able to find part-time work. I completed some BSN pre-reqs while I was going for my ADN. Worked for one year to really get "settled in" then grouped my part-time hours together, used vacation time, and finished up my BSN in one year or so -- took alot of spring/summer/intersession nursing classes. Worked great for me.

I just graduated from 4yrs business course here in the philippines and I'll be enrolling in a BSN in one of a medical university here. But I'm laso too scared of the subject that I'll be taking. I already have the subjects and that includes: ZOOLOGY, GEN. INORGANIC CHEM, NUTRITION AND DIETETICCS STRATEGIES OF HEALTHCARE. Gosh I'm afraid I'm really not good in memmorization!

 Is there anyone of you here who eperience the same thing? I hope I can make it into nursing!
