Published

Hey Guys,

I took the nclex pn today at 8 and i am so loss for many words! I felt like i only got 1 or 2 right. The machine cut off at 85 and I had 14 SATA. I am feeling like a failure. My family as well as I need for me to pass nclex and i am just feeling like i did not pass. Any words of wisdom? I find out friday via quick results.

Hi 08gal, I too took the exam on Aug. 20th and I felt heavy in my chest I want to cry for i could'nt even remember what # i stop it could be either 96 0r 97, i'm scared i feel that I did not pass, anyway does CA has quick result? it's very frustrating to wait 4 weeks of result.

No Ca does not participate in quick results, because you do not pay for your license until you get your results then you have to wait

everyone feels this way when they test, I think it would be bad if you didn't feel like you failed. keep your head up!

Hi 08gal,

I know how you feel. I think the hardest part about taking this exam is waiting for the results. Stay positive and have faith. You're in my prayers and I wish you all the best.:nurse::heartbeat

Just took my test this morning and I am feeling wicked defeated. Soo many pharm questions, I just never could have known all those meds. They give you the name of the med with no other info and ask you to pick from four contraindications. I just absolutely blind guessed it. I had a little more than 100 questions. When it hit 86 my heart just sank. I don't know if that means I failed or what, but it can't be a good sign. It means for sure there was a question of my passing. I hope I passed, but I just feel like it doesn't look good. I'm so bummed, and my self esteem has just plummeted. If 85% of the people pass it on their first try, that doesn't say much for me. Darn.

You can still pass, very hard to predict with the NCLEX. Good luck

Oddly I passed. It's such a weird test. There were so many pharmacology questions that I just had no idea about. It felt really hard, I thought I had failed. What a roller coaster. I don't quite get why they ask all those questions they really don't require you to get right. I'm glad I passed. But, really why? Why not just give a plain old regular test, testing us on our knowledge of what they want us to know? I don't get it.
