I took my exam 1/29/09, i had lots of priority and delegation q's, pharmacology but no computations, i had probably 10 SATA's, safety and infection control...it was hard. I thought that the computer will shut off at 75...but it did not, so i started to panic...i reached probably 108/109 when the computer finally shut off. I was shocked that it stopped. I'm not even sure if i got the last question right. It was a Thursday when i took my exam, it's Monday now and i haven't seen my name on BON site...well, i guess i didn't make it again. the last time time they updated it was 2/1/09... i am losing hope... i wanna call BON but people say that we shouldn't co'z that would delay the processing of the result. I am continuing my review again and hopefully waiting for my reaaplication form in the mail.
It's the 7th day now and I haven't seen my name on the BRN site. A few more days then I'll be receiving my letter. I guess, I have to try Suzanne's plan this time...
If you haven't heard anything in 2 weeks then contact the BRN but do not assume anything until you get your results. Can still take longer with CA especially if your file is incomplete
Hi out there,
I am also a freshman nursing student and in my A and P class and preparing for my first test. I never realized that we had so many body parts and I've discovered there is no such thing as the simple cell. Since, I began this semester I have had stomachs, tension headaches, fever and total exhaustion. It feels as if I am in boot camp all over again but I feel that the 'gunny' was easier to get along with than this course. I guess I am overwhelmed as you are.
I guess G-d wants us to feel a little of what the patients feel when confronted with medical issues. The little bit of humble pie goes a long way. I certainly have had my belly full for the last few weeks. Nevertheless, you just got to keep focused on the prize; remember one day at a time.
LFG
Thanks Silverdragon 102,
I called board of nursing and found that therss something wrong with my file and i got the official result saying I HAVE PASSED THE NCLEX. I cannot express my happiness ! Its really a wonderful moment.
GUD LUCK TO ALL WHO ARE TAKING THEIR NCLEX. AND DONT ASSUME ANYTHING UNTIL U GET THE OFFICIAL RESULT.

Take a break, my friend. I know it's hard to do, but give your brain a rest. That's what I plan on doing. I'm going in under prepared (dosen't everyone think that though?) but I'm a good student and I've done all the Kaplan questions with a 62% average. After the test, I'm going for a long hike, start doing yoga again, hang out with friends and not touch a computer for 5 days. If I fail, oh well. I'll get my $500 back from Kaplan and I'll take the NCLEX again in a month, this time using Suzanne and Saunders. But take some time to recharge that muscle you've abused for the last few months, think good thoughts. I'm rooting for you.
