I failed Nclex-RN exam twice !!

I failed Nclex twice last year and preparing to retake it again.Im Foreign trained Nurse trying to get licensed in Kansas.I really need to pass this time round.Im anxious and trying hard to do at least 100 quiz daily.Im using Kaplan cd an SilvestriRN5e (Saunders) quizs..I also have saunders,Kaplan review books and Lippincotts Alternate-Format quizs book...Any advice on how to prepare and pass? please help..Thanx and God bless you:cheers:

Hi! I'm also a foreign trained nurse. :) I also failed my 1st exam last dec 2010. Now, I'm preparing for my 2nd try on March 19. I'm using Saunders Comprehensive Review 5th ed too, Kaplan Strategies 2011-2012, Nclex-rn 3500, 4000, Exam Cram 2nd edition, and LaCharity PDA 2nd edition, and I'm also planning to get the ncsbn qbank 3 weeks before my test date.

By the way, when are you testing again? And how do you find that Lippincott's Alternate Format Book? Is it helpful? Thanks and Good luck to us! Hopefully, we can pass it this time! :cheers:

Yes we can pass and we'll pass..Im planning to take it possibly by April depending on how prepared i feel...Im abit nervous but trying my best...It has good quizs very similar to what i find in Saunders n Kaplan Qbank...Im trying everything i lay my hands on and visiting this forum once in a while for motivation.....I'm also planning to try ncsbn qbank too later..

A friend shared hers with me....i downloaded it in my comp...what's ur study plan? .....im trying doing 100 quiz/day when i can ie at least 500/week...feeling like this is not adequate...

Mwakenya, you have the right tools, i did not find NCSBN questions to be useful but everyone is different. most important thing is understanding the rationals ans the core content, that's what iam working on myself. i have also found NCLEX-RN Review by MARLENE HURST to be very useful. all the best ,you can do.

Have you tried ncsbn question bank? I purchased 3 wk course and those questions were really helpful.

They also provide review sessions. Good luck with your next test!! :cheers:
