I can’t take it anymore! 😩

OK….here’s the dilemma: it’s gotten PRETTY crazy at the bedside and the hospitals are continually showing how much they DON’T care. I am currently pursuing my MSN-FNP so the flexibility of the bedside allows me to get my school obligations done. The thing is: I CANNOT continue to work the bedside. 4 years has been long enough. Anybody out there that could give me flexible job options that still involves healthcare? Or, is there anybody also currently pursuing their MSN-FNP who works M-F? Help please.

The only thing that pops out for me that might have a  fairly flexible schedule is looking for a  position that is production based rather than a punch a clock set schedule.  Maybe chart review, insurance, patient advocate or care coordinator or something along those lines?

Yea I was going to say the same as kbrn, utilization review, mgmt. Also, how much longer until you're done?  IF you don't have that much longer try to stick it out.  If you do and you really can't take bedside anymore, before you nix it all together can you do flex?  Shorten your days (8 hrs), shorten your schedule (2 12s a wk)?
