Sweetie, that sounds like a mild anxiety attack. I used to have huge problems with anxiety myself. I wouldn't sweat it I am sure your teacher will not remember and you will be fine. However, you will be coming into lots of stressful and anxiety causing situations in nursing school so you might want to work on learning some relaxation techniques. That's what I do when I find myself getting anxious. And one more thing half of nursing school is showing the presence of confidence. Believe me all the other students will be as nervous as you some are just better than others at faking that they're not.

Hi Gordi,
I wouldn't sweat it either. Being that this person is a nurse I'm sure she is a bit more understanding than most people and what seems like a big deal to you, she probably hardly even noticed.
I agree though, sounds like you had a bit of an anxiety attack which is nothing to be ashamed of. Like Teresa said I would look into some relaxation techniques, though. I often use breathing techniques to calm myself down if I am feeling worried or anxious.
Here's a story to make you feel better.
My Aunt had been a nurse for about 5 or 6 years and had recently given birth to her first child. She and my uncle had moved to a new area and so she was out pounding the pavement looking for a nursing job. She was called in to interview at a local hospital. During the interview, the DON left the office to take care of some paper work and while my aunt was sitting in the DON's office by herself she suddenly became very sick and threw up in the DON's trash can. My aunt felt so dumb because how often does that happen? She thought for sure that she had made a bad impression and was very embarrased. Well, when the DON came in my aunt obviously had to explain what had happened and the DON was so kind and sympathetic. The DON then told my aunt she knew exactly how she felt because when she was interviewing for the position that she currently held as the DON she was having some problems with her menstral cycle and as she was getting up to leave a room full of interviewers she had a bit of an accident.
So, see, things like this happen more often that one might think. No need to be embarrassed. It can happen to anyone at anytime.
Take care and I'm sure you'll do fine!

Even if she does remember,, maybe it will be a good thing. Maybe she will be able to put you at ease when you start classes before you get to clinicals.
Just starting a nursing program can be anxiety causing, so hang in there and dont be afraid to talk to the instructors about it if you find you have some when you get started. A good instructor will do everything they can to help you get past it.

I am starting in the pre nursing coorifice this spring and went to the open house they had today. I was fine until I got to the simulated nursing classroom. The instructor was the only one in there and as soon as she started talking to me I got really hot and I could feel my blood pressure going up as she was talking to me and I almost passed out. I don't know what came over me all of the sudden. I hope that this don't happen at my check off's or my clinical's. Am I cut out for this job or is this just a freak thing that happened. I made a first bad impression. Now I am having second thought's.
