I can't believe I made: Gordon Class of 2006!!!

OMG....Some of you may have an idea about how I'm feeling right now. I'm about to graduate nursing school. I can't believe. It doesnt seem real. The last two years have gone by soooo fast. I feel like I'm walking on air. I wouldnt have gotten this far with/out the grace of GOD, the best professors on the planet, and the awesome study group I had. I only had to make a 40 on the final to pass with a C. I'm not even gonna tell you what I made b/c it doesnt matter. I'm a freakin nurse. To come from one school flunking and starting at a new school shining has really boosted my ego. I've told my freinds and family to please keep me grounded. I dont want my head to get big. I'm a nurse!! I'm a nurse!! (Now all I gotta do is get a job) :w00t: :roll

Keep your head up...pray...and continue to be optimistic. God will put you where he needs you to be. It's a very good program. The instructors are awesome. How do you know there are 28 seats left and when will they notify you that you got in? Was there a reason they waitlisted you?

HI NURSE BUNKY, THANKS FOR THE ADVICE AND WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT. ANYWAY, I AM NOT REALY SURE WHY THEY WAITLISTED ME. I NEVER QUESTIONED ANYBODY SINCE I WAS RATHER DISAPPOINTED THAT I ENDED UP ON THE WAITING LIST. AS FAR AS THE 28 SEATS AVAILABLE, I WENT TO THE BANNER WEB, WENT UNDER THE SEARCH FOR SHEDULE OF CLASSES MENU, PLUGGED IN THE

TWO REQUIRED NURSING CLASSES FOR FALL AND FOUND OUT THAT THERE WERE STILL 28 SEATS LEFT AS OF LAST WEEK. ACCEPTANCE LETTERS CAME OUT LAST APRIL 1 AND I BELIEVE THEY WERE GIVEN TILL APRIL7 TO REPLY IF THEY WANT THE SEAT OR NOT. ON THE FIRST SURGE OF REGISTRATION, THERE WERE ABOUT 45 THAT REGISTERED AND EVER

SINCE THEN THE SEAT AVAILABILITY HAVE BEEN DECLINING. I AM STILL HOPEFUL SINCE MY GORDON GPA IS 4.0. 21 OUT OF THE 30 HOURS THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR PREREQ WERE TAKEN AT GORDON INCLUDING ALL MY SCIENCES THE ONLY THING THAT I THINK MESSED ME UP WERE THE 2 C'S AND 1 B THAT I TOOK ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO FROM ANOTHER

COLLEGE. THIS BROUGHT MY GPA DOWN TO 3.5. STILL I !AM HOPING THAT I CAN GET IN. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND FOR LETTING ME RANT.
